Epic Seven: Top 10 Best Soul Weaver Heroes

Soul Weavers are the bread and butter of any team composition in Epic Seven.

Providing heals, stat buffs, barriers and revive for your main heroes, a good Soul Weaver will carry entire fights.

They tend to be built with tons of bulky stats like HP, or a mixture of speed and bulk.

33 different Soul Weavers exist, so you should acquire at least one of each element for maximum effectiveness.

The best Soul Weaver artifacts are Prophetic Candlestick, Wondrous Potion Vial & Doctor’s Bag.

10. Mascot Hazel

Attribute: Fire

Recommended Set: Speed/HP

How to get: Specialty Change

Skills

Book of FireUrgent RegenA Girl in Uniform
Attacks enemy with fire magic, with a 30% chance to make them unhealable for 2 turns.Heals the ally proportional to the caster’s Attack and the target’s max Health, before increasing Combat Readiness of the caster by 15%. Amount recovered is doubled when the target’s Health is 50% or less.Burn Effect: Extends buff duration by 1 turn.

Encourages the target and all other allies, increasing Attack for 2 turns before recovering Health of all allies and dispelling one debuff. If the initial target is a Fire elemental Hero, increases Attack (Greater) for 1 turn. This effect will only be applied to one ally. Health recovered increases proportional to the target’s max Health and the caster’s Attack.

Summary

Mascot Hazel is a weird one, more of a support hero than a dedicated hero.

Her unhealable debuff is pretty nice to have but the chance is too low to warrant building effectiveness.

Paired with another Fire hero for things like Expedition or PvP battles, she can be really good with her extra attack buff.

Otherwise, her heals aren’t enough for PvE and the Fire hero requirement to get the most out of her skills is a let-down.

For niche purposes, she could easily use one of your scuffed sets you have lying around and come in handy at some point!

9. Emilia

Attribute: Ice

Recommended Set: Speed/Immunity

How to get: 5* Limited Summon

Skills

HumaSpirit’s BlessingDivine Protection of the Great Spirit

Grants a blessing to an ally except for the caster, dispelling two debuffs and increasing Attack for 2 turns before increasing Combat Readiness by 40%. Increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 25%.
Uses spiritual arts to dispel two debuffs from all allies, before recovering Health and granting a barrier for 2 turns. Amount recovered and barrier strength increase proportional to the caster’s max Health.

Summary

Emilia is a jack-of-all-trades type of Soul Weaver, not particularly excelling in any department but being competent in all.

Her constant debuffs & heals make her an amazing choice for PvP.

Many speedy openers love to debuff your team to allow their DPS heroes to clean up, having a fast Emilia to make sure your team is healthy and debuffed can be immensely helpful.

8. Achates

Attribute: Fire

Recommended Set: HP/Effect Resistance

How to get: 4* Covenant Summon

Skills

Magic DesignRapid CureCuring Prayer
Attacks with a staff, with a 35% chance to decrease Attack for 2 turns.Recovers ally’s Health and grants invincibility for 1 turn, before decreasing the target’s skill cooldown by 1 turn. Amount recovered is proportional to the caster’s max Health.Burn Effect: Increases the amount recovered.

Dispel debuffs from all allies before healing them. Healing increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.

Summary

Achates is an effective Soul Weaver for all aspects of gameplay, and will be your go-to Fire element healer for PvP.

Team-wide heal is always good, but Achates really shines with her Invincibility buff, making your best hero unable to be damaged for a whole turn, as well as decreasing their skill cooldowns.

If you can put a lot of stats into speed, as well as an artifact to increase combat readiness (like Magaraha’s Tome), you’ll be dishing out tons of Invincibility buffs!

7. Angelic Montmorancy

Attribute: Ice

Recommended Set: HP

How to get: Specialty Change

Skills

Sleep SorceryPurificationEarnest Prayer
Attack the enemy with water energy, with a 25% chance to put them to sleep for 1 turn.Dispels one debuff from all allies, and heals debuffed allies. Amount recovered is proportional to the ally’s max Health.Burn Effect: Effect is granted to all allies.

Recovers ally’s Health and grants immunity for 2 turns, dispelling 2 debuffs. Also increases caster’s Combat Readiness by 50%. Amount recovered is proportional to the target’s max Health.

Summary

All players will recognize this Ice hero, as she’s readily available early on via a Specialty Change.

Used mostly for Wyvern runs and early game PvE Adventures, A. Momo can be effective in PvP if you build her with enough speed.

While she does lack AoE healing/buff power, her early game availability makes her a popular choice among Epic Seven players.

6. Destina

Attribute: Earth

Recommended Set: Counter/HP

How to get: 5* Covenant Summon

Skills

Key to an OathRegenDestina’s Grace
Burn Effect: Attacks the enemy and greatly heals all allies. Does not trigger a Dual Attack.

Attacks the enemy with a staff and heals the ally with the lowest Health. Healing increases proportional to the target’s max Health.
Blesses an ally, recovering their Health and increasing their Combat Readiness by 50%. Healing increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.Grants all allies the blessing of a Spirit Lord, dispelling all debuffs before recovering Health. When an ally is debuffed, their Combat Readiness will also be increased by 15% per debuff. This effect can only be applied up to 4 times. Amount recovered increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.

Summary

Destina works great as a counter front-liner or a combat readiness pusher.

Strategies exist to build a DPS hero with tons of offensive power, but no speed at all.

Use a CR pusher to force them to attack before any enemies.

That strategy is PvP only, whereas she can work as a full HP or counter front-liner for PvE.

Her team-wide debuff dispell S3 is also great for countering a lot of PvP teams and bosses!

5. Roana

Attribute: Earth

Recommended Set: HP

How to get: 5* Covenant Summon

Skills

Soul PurificationVigilant Eye (Passive)Noble Rekos
Burn Effect: Grants a barrier to all allies for 2 turns after attacking.

Attacks the enemy with a noble power, granting a barrier to the ally with the lowest Health for 2 turns. Barrier strength increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.
Recovers Health of all allies when an ally is attacked by an extra attack, counterattack, or Dual Attack, and increases Combat Readiness of all allies by 5% each per attacked ally. Amount recovered is proportional to the caster’s max Health and the number of attacked allies. With the grace of Rekos, recovers the Health of all allies and grants revive for 2 turns. Amount recovered increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.

Summary

I really hate facing defense teams who run Roana, her revive buff is so frustrating.

Literally providing a team-wide revive buff for 2 turns, as well as recovering health, makes Roana the best Earth element Soul Weaver in Epic Seven!

Her passive is perfect against frustrating counter teams as well.

Some bosses in Adventure or Abyss will have plenty of counter or extra attacks, so Roana stands out in these situations too.

A speedy HP build is best to ensure she heals a lot but also gets her revive buff applied as soon as possible.

You could also build her with a counter set if you want her to keep applying those barriers.

4. Angelica

Attribute: Ice

Recommended Set: Speed/HP

How to get: Connections & 4* Covenant Summon

Skills

Holy StrikeOrigin of LifeGuide of the Goddess
Attacks with a staff, with a 20% chance to stun for 1 turn.Recovers ally’s Health, as well as that of another ally with the least Health, with healing power. Amount recovered is proportional to the caster’s max Health.Burn Effect: Extends buff duration for 2 turns.

Recovers the Health of all allies and grants a barrier and immunity for 2 turns. Amount recovered and barrier strength are proportional to the caster’s max Health.

Summary

My personal favorite, I’ve used Angelica as my main front-liner since I acquired her Connection.

Give her your free HP set and she’ll tank Wyvern for you, all the way up until level 12.

Once you’ve acquired a few more sets, you can upgrade her to a Speedy set, sacrificing a bit of defensive stats for the ability to use a skill before many enemy heroes.

A team-wide Immunity buff, plus a barrier, is really strong against the majority of arena teams you’ll come up against.

Angelica is incredible in both PvP & PvE and should be the go-to for any new player 🙂

3. Blood Moon Haste

Attribute: Dark

Recommended Set: Speed/HP

How to get: 5* Moonlight Summon

Skills

Blood ScytheGrudge (Passive)Moon Slash
Burn Effect: Ignores Effect Resistance.

Attacks by swinging a scythe, dispelling one buff. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.
When an enemy is revived, grants all allies a barrier and immunity for 1 turn and resets the cooldown of Moon Slash. Barrier strength increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.Attacks with a scythe, recovering Health of all allies. Penetrates Defense, but cannot trigger a critical hit. Damage dealt and amount recovered increases proportional to the caster’s max Health. Decreases damage suffered by allies by 10% when this skill is available. When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied.

Summary

One of the very few Soul Weavers to have a mostly offensive kit, Blood Moon Haste is a good niche option.

Heroes with revive are a constant plague in the PvP scene, having a passive that counters such a problem can be a significant boon.

Not much speed is required, you could even go with a HP% main stat on your boots.

You don’t particularly want him attacking last, as his S1 is great for dispelling Immunity buffs.

This hero is mostly used exclusively in Arena/Guild Wars.

2. Sinful Angelica

Attribute: Dark

Recommended Set: Speed/HP

How to get: 4* Moonlight Summon

Skills

DebilitatingSoul Harvest (Passive)Dark Salvation
Burn Effect: Increases effect chance to 100% and decreases Attack of the target for 2 turns.

Attacks with a staff, with a 65% chance to decrease Attack for 1 turn. When the caster is immortal, triggers a Dual Attack from the ally with the highest Attack.
When the caster is immortal, enemies cannot be revived and all allies recover Health every time an enemy dies. Amount recovered increases proportional to the target’s max Health. Recover effect can only be activated once per turn.Whips up a vortex of darkness and loathing, granting immortality to the caster for 2 turns. Grants increased Attack and Speed to all allies except for the caster for 2 turns.

Summary

Sinful Angelica is a very capable Soul Weaver for Hunts & PvP.

Her S3 works perfectly for Wyvern 13 one-shot builds, tanking Wyvern hits thanks to immortality while providing buffs to her DPS allies.

For PvP, you’ll want her as fast as possible to get her Immortality buff up.

Preventing revivers (like Arbiter Vildred) from resurrecting themselves is a huge advantage and can win entire battles in the right circumstances.

1. Tamarinne

Attribute: Fire

Recommended Set: HP

How to get: 5* Covenant Summon

Skills

Serene TuneSong of the ForestShining Star
Burn Effect: Greatly recovers Health of all allies after attacking.

(Idol) Attacks all enemies with a beautiful voice, dispelling all buffs. Triggers a Dual Attack from the ally with the highest Attack.
(Tamarinne) Heals all allies with a peaceful melody. Amount recovered increases proportional to the caster’s max Health. Decreases cooldown of Shining Star by 1 turn.

(Idol) With a powerful performance, increases Attack of all allies for 2 turns and increases Combat Readiness by 30%, recovering Health. Amount recovered increases proportional to the caster’s max Health.
Before performing, dispels all debuffs inflicted on all allies and recovers the caster to max Health and grants an extra turn. The caster becomes an idol for 3 turns and performs a concert. Begins the first battle with full cooldown count.

(9 turn cooldown)

Summary

Considered to be the Queen of PvE, Tamarinne should be your most sought after Soul Weaver in Epic Seven.

Her S3 Shining Star has a huge cooldown but the sheer amount of beneficial effects it applies is amazing.

No other hero can provide as many heals for a team, acquiring & gearing Tamarinne will make your Abyss, Labyrinth & Adventure runs a million times easier!
