As Ziggs, you can build full AP for huge aoe damage, on-hit for even bigger single target DPS or support for some of the best healing available in Odyssey. Choosing one, or multiple playstyles (if you have more than 1 Ziggs on your team) requires the correct augments to function correctly.

FYI just in case you’re struggling with the Sona/Ziggs only mission. It’s a lot easier to just go full AP Sona 🙂 Don’t try with Ziggs, it’s possible but a lot harder!
Description: Satchel Charge has a larger explosion radius. Lower its cooldown per enemy hit.
Ziggs’ Satchel Charge is one of his lower damaging abilities but powering it up with Mayhem isn’t a bad idea. It won’t deal any more damage but it’ll explode in a larger area, knocking back more enemies while also having its cooldown reduced by up to 90%!
Description: Bouncing Bombs throws 3 bombs in a spread formation.
For some huge aoe damage, Shatter switches Ziggs’ Q into 3 separate projectiles, with a trajectory similar to Twisted Fate’s Q. Hitting a single target with multiple bombs will of course deal 50% less damage, otherwise it’d be far too over-powered.
Description: Launching Ziggs with Satchel Charge grants a shield and damages enemies upon impact.
There’s actually a cheese strategy with this augment and Afterburner, which allows you to clear Odyssey Onslaught with just the 2. Since that was leaked, it is officially the easiest way to complete Onslaught. However, in terms of fun, Ziggs can be enjoyed while also being useful and contributing to victory.
Afterburner gives you those epic moments of escape, knocking up enemies when he lands, as well as dealing double the damage of the initial explosion. Afterwards, Ziggs gains a shield equal to the landing damage.
Description: Short Fuse bounces to nearby enemies, up to 4 times.

Dealing double damage helps single target DPS just as much as aoe too!
Description: Gain extra range on basic attacks. Bonus Attack Speed grants Ability Power.
Further solidfying the on-hit build is the Distributor augment, granting Ziggs an extra 150 range on his basic attacks. Kiting is far, far more effective with this augment, you can easily stay outside attack range of most monsters!
His ability power is also increased by 1 for each 1% bonus attack speed he has, working extremely well with the aforementioned Guinsoo’s Rageblade yet again. This playstyle is so fun too and great for learning how to “Orb walk“.
Description: Hexplosive Mines heal allies that activate them.
Full support Ziggs is a thing thanks to the Hexhealing augment, which turns his E into the fountain of youth. Healing ratios aren’t reduced or anything, Hexhealing will heal the same amount it would usually damage. You can easily heal 1 or 2 people to full health with a single E, there’s a reason Ziggs is considered the best healer in Odyssey.
Description: Mega Inferno Bomb deals extra damage over time and launches more bombs on impact.
An ultimate from Ziggs is perfect for Odyssey, where enemies tend to get cramped into small areas, ending up with death zones. Launching a huge bomb at them is one way to clear the field, Fallout helps in this regard, providing even more aoe damage after the initial explosion.
5 mini-bombs are expleted from the initial blast radius, any enemies hit are take 30% more as true damage over the next few seconds too!
Description: After casting Mega Inferno Bomb, Ziggs can recast continually for 5 seconds.
Overkill has to be the most awesome ability/augment/rune etc ever seen in League of Legends. No other ability compares to the utter enjoyment you get from spamming a Ziggs R. I’m talking 7 or 8 times you activate it in a short period, living up to its name as it easily destroys all enemies after 4 or 5 ults.
While he’s in this Overkill state, Ziggs is immune to CC and takes 80% less damage. Amazing, but not as good as…
Description: Whilte at low health, gain bonus movement speed, Attack Speed, and CDR.
All you need is to be lower than 60% health, then your movement speed is doubled, your attack speed is increased by 50% and all abilities have their cooldowns halved. Such an insane amount of stats cannot be understated, Brink is a must-have!
