Top 10 Best Halo 5 Helmets

Customization is at an all-time high with Halo 5: Guardians. There are hundreds of different armor choices for you to use, finding a helmet you like has never been harder. This list will cover the coolest, most awesome helmets in the entire game. Rarity will also be taken into account, so no commons make the list. This list was difficult to make as there are so many epic helmets to choose from, although in the end, only 10 can make the cut. Take a look at the top 10 best Halo 5 Helmets!

10. Mark VI GEN1

Unlocked by completing the first mission of Halo: Combat Evolved on Halo: Master Chief Collection, this Legendary helmet is one of the most recognizable in the entire series. Sporting an original Master Chief look, it’s loved by fans all over the world and is definitely one of the best helmets in the game!

9. Noble Valor

Remember Reach :'(

Spawned from Noble team’s leader, this helmet is almost an exact replica of Carter’s old helmet. As unique now as it was back then, it’s an awesome helmet that most fans can agree on. You can obtain it in Gold or Silver packs as a Rare REQ.

8. Scanner

Damn that’s awesome, even without the feature above the visor. One of the most unique helmets we’ve ever seen, the Scanner is an Ultra Rare REQ that looks incredible. The block above the visor makes this helmet, even if it does look like a CD drive (cannot be unseen).

7. Argus

Good luck ever obtaining this helmet, it’s a Mythic REQ that’ll take either hundreds of Gold Packs or extreme luck to get. But it’s worth it, you’ll look completely different to everyone else (except Linda of course).

6. Centurion

The Centurion set is among the coolest in the game but the helmet is what makes it so good. No nonsense or fancy plating, just a straight up military style helmet that looks amazing!

REQ status – Legendary!

5. Void Dancer

The only ‘fancy’ helmet on the list, most players would agree that the ‘warped’ metal look of the new armors is a bit too far away from the military theme. This helmet has these features but still looks amazing, it’s kind of a mix of both. Yet another Legendary REQ, congrats if you manage to get it!

4. Timmy

What a name, what a helmet. This item has the most unique backstory of any in Halo history, being unknown. There is no official lore, only that it was a glitch in the War Games simulations of created by a crazy inventory. Either way, it’s an outstanding helmet that can only be obtained by playing 50 hours in custom games!

3. EOD

The classic, this helmet has been a fan favorite since it was first introduced back in Halo: 3. The entire look is awesome, from the visor to the ‘jawbones’. Personally it’s my favourite helmet of all time but I’ll never get it, as it’s a Rare REQ and I still have most REQs to unlock 🙁

2. Wrath

Dear god, this helmet is intimidating. Most players would likely but Wrath at the top of the list and for good reason. Emile‘s old helmet features a number of emotions, looking completely awesome to new Halo fans while putting steam into the nostalgia train for veterans. As a Legendary REQ, good luck trying to obtain it but if you do…it’s doubtful you’ll find another helmet you like more.
